Why Identifying Your Exact Device Model Is Crucial Before Ordering

When selecting a product for your smartphone, tablet, or smartwatch, it's extremely important to correctly identify your device model. Choosing the wrong model can result in an ill-fitting screen protector or accessory, even if the device names seem nearly identical.

🔍 Where to Find Your Device Model Number

For smartphones and tablets, you can usually find the model number:

• On the original box of the device,
• On the nameplate (label or sticker) on the back or inside the SIM tray,
• In the device settings:

• Go to Settings > About phone/device
  Look for Model number

Be sure to enter this number exactly when searching for a compatible product.

📶 4G vs. 5G Devices – Not Always the Same Size!

Many devices with the same name come in different versions – for example, 4G and 5G variants. These versions can differ slightly in size and shape, which means that a product designed for the 4G version might not fit the 5G version, and vice versa.

So always double-check which version you have before ordering.

⌚ Smartwatches – Look Closely!

For smartwatches, the model number can usually be found:

• On the back of the watch case, or
• On the packaging label

You’ll also notice that many smartwatch names include sizes like 42mm, 46mm, etc. Please remember:

This is not the actual size of the product,
but the size of the watch case, used by manufacturers to distinguish models.

For example, Huawei Watch GT 46mm and Samsung Watch GT 46mm may sound similar, but they are entirely different devices.
Accessories are not interchangeable between them, even if the number “46mm” appears in both names.
